The Expert Advisory Board

The EAB is composed of well-known research leaders in malaria and capacity strengthening will review annually the activities of the programme, assess the quality of the programme’s scientific activities and provide advice on any major issues of concern.

MARCAD Advisory Board have to:

• ensure that the activities of the consortium are conducted in accordance with the conditions set out in the award from the Wellcome Trust and AESA
• ensure that the activities of the steering committee are being conducted in a fair and equitable way that respects the right of each partner,
• act as a source of advice on decisions with which the steering committee is having difficulty,
• provide advice on ways in which the capacity building activities of the consortium could be improved based on their own experience,
• provide links with other capacity development programmes and help in the identification of other initiatives and sources of funding that could benefit the consortium.
