Biography:
MSc Diamantino Alves has a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Maranhão (2020) Brazil. He has a specialization course in PRESCRIBING promoted by the Federal Pharmacy Council (CFF) Brazil (2022). Master's degree in Adult Health from the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) (2023) Brazil. He focused on evaluating the antitumor and antibacterial activity of endophytic fungi collected from the leaves of Euterpe oleracea Mart. He carried out his activities as an extension/research fellow under the guidance of Prof. PhD. Maria do Desterro Soares Brandão Nascimento, coordinator of the Research Project entitled: “The Role of the Cytotoxic Effect of the Jucara Fruit (Euterpe oleracea Mart.), a functional food from MARANHÃO, on cancer cell lines ” approved by the Department of Pathology - DEPAT/NIBA of the Center for Biological and Health Sciences - CCBS and the Dean of Extension of the Federal University of Maranhão - UFMA. Diamantino Alves is currently a PhD student at MARCAD Plus, with the theme of the research project: Prevalence of risk Factors for Malaria Epidemiology among Guinea-Bissau Population.
