Biography:
Deutou Laure was born in Banka, Western Cameroon, on 9 February 1986. She completed her primary and Secondary high school in Bafang, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in 2004. In 2009, Laure obtained a bachelor's degree in biochemistry at the University of Yaoundé I and a master's degree in health sciences/immunology at the Catholic University of Central Africa in 2015. She has been a lecturer in immunology, molecular biology, bacteriology, hematology and laboratory techniques at the Higher Institute of Applied Health Sciences in Bafoussam and at the Evangelical University of Cameroon since 2015. She obtained her PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology and Applied Biotechnology in 2022 at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Since December 2023, she has been a postdoctoral fellow with MARCAD PLUS at the Biotechnology Centre in Yaoundé, Cameroon. She collaborates to manage of laboratory and the students' biomedical research work.
