Project title: Assessment of malaria Prevention strategies in pregnant women: a study using Ghana Demographic and Health Survey data.
Biography:
Dr. Sarah Mawbondwo obtained her bachelor’s degree in medicine from the National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya, Ukraine from 2015 to 2020. She earlier on obtained bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Central University college, Accra, Ghana from 2008-2012 and her Senior High School Certificate from New Juaben Senior High School, Koforidua, Ghana from 2003-2005. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Disease Control at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, UHAS. Her research interest is in Malaria in Pregnancy and her focus is to work on how best to improve maternal and child health outcomes and reduce the burden of malaria in Ghanaian communities.
