Biography:
Lecturer: College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, University of Sierra Leone (Lecturing: Genetics, Molecular and Immunology); Arthur Bodurie Calvin Garber holds a Diploma and BSc (Hons) in Medical Laboratory Sciences and also a Master of Science in Molecular Medicine from College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, University of Sierra Leone and Near East University Nicosia Cyprus respectively.
He has been granted a scholarship to pursue a Master to conduct the afore mentioned research under the Malaria and NTDs Research Capacity Development in West and Central Africa (MARCAD Plus).
The aim of his research is To Understand The genetic diversity Of Msp1/2, Glurp, and Pfama genes In Plasmodium Falciparum in children under 2 years after taking Sulfadoxine and Pyrimethamine (S-P) as a prophylactic regimen in key tertiary Hospitals In Metropolitan District in Sierra Leone.
Arthur Bodurie is an academic enthusiast with the goal of becoming an independent researcher who will help in policy making in putting an end to malaria infection in Sub-Saharan Africa.
