Kodou is the communication-officer of the Malaria Research Capacity Development in West and Central Africa (MARCAD), based in the Service of Parasitology of the Faculty of Medicine of Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar/ Senegal. She is graduate in communication and journalism from the CESTI, school of journalism and communication of Dakar. Kodou has collaborated with the PNUD as a consultant in the first and second phase of the Urgent Community Development Program (PUDC) of the Senegal Government in 2014 and 2016. Kodou worked as a journalist in the Senegal national channel. She also collaborated as a freelance journalist for le French Press Agency (AFP) after having made a practice of two months in the Agency siege in Paris in 2016. She was one on the 51 African Women selected around the continent for a Master degree scholarship of the Spanish Fundation Mujeres for Africa in 2017. She got a master in Protocol and Events Organization from University Camilo José Cela of Madrid/Spain.
