Project title: Impact of RTS,S Malaria vaccination on malaria morbidity, anemia and Malaria-related deaths among children under five years in ten districts of Volta region, Ghana
Biography:
Mr. Roland Glover currently works as a Public Health Officer (Program Coordinator National Malaria Elimination Program) in the Volta Region Health Directorate of the Ghana Health Service. He attended the College of Health and Wellbeing in Kintampo, between 1994 to 1997 where he obtained a diploma in Community Health. From 2002 to 2003 he obtained a certificate in Health Education at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He also attended the University of Cape Coast, Ghana from 2006 to 2009 and graduated with a bachelor’s in health sciences education (Epidemiology). He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana (2012 to 2014). He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Disease Control at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, UHAS. His research interests are in Health Systems Research for Policy Development, Implementation Research for Health Systems Strengthening, Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases.
