Pr. Babacar Faye is a Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of the UCAD. It is responsible for all aspects related to education and training and the personal development plan (PDP) of PhD students and postdoctoral selected through MARCAD.

Within the Faculty, Professor Faye has worked in various training projects such as the MCDC. He oversees the Master of Biology and Control of Parasites and he coordinates the teaching of parasitology and mycology within the framework of the DES in Clinical Biology. He is also the deputy Director of the African Center of Excellence AGIR Environment, Health and Societies of UCAD. On malaria, he has worked in research projects on the treatment, diagnosis, prevention and on the molecular aspects of antimalarial resistance.
