CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR MARCAD PLUS POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP 2023 IN GHANA
MARCAD Plus is a consortium of institutions putting together their capacities to contribute significantly to malaria and NTDs elimination in West and Central Africa. MARCAD Plus is sponsored by the Welcome Trust and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), working in partnership with the Science for Africa Foundation (SFA).
MARCAD Plus is launching a new capacity-building programme for Master, PhD and Postdoctoral fellows in the following thematic areas: Control and elimination of Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) (Schistosomiasis & Soil-Transmitted Helminths). With this programme, MARCAD Plus seeks to train African scientists able to provide relevant answers for the control and elimination of malaria and NTDs. MARCAD Plus is among the partners of the XIX Medical Days of UCAD
MARCAD Plus participated in the XIX Medical Days of the Faculty of Medicine of the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar (UCAD). The launching Ceremony held on April 26th, was chaired by the General Director of Higher Education of Senegal, Amadou Abdoul Sow, in the presence of the Director of Public Health Institutions of the country. The event took place from 26th to 29th April 2023 at Dakar University.

MARCAD Plus selected for DELTAS Africa II program implemented by The Science for Africa Foundation (SFA)
Malaria and NTDs Research Capacity Development (MARCAD Plus) in West and Central Africa is among the 14 consortia selected for the second phase of The Developing Excellence in Leadership, Training, and Science in Africa (DELTAS Africa) programme. The DELTAS Africa II launch ceremony was held on March 14th, 2023, in Nairobi, Kenya.
